Every year we visit the nutcracker at least once and inspect the trees, the cracking facility, and storage areas. The whole almond kernels with their shell can be easily opened with a nutcracker. The almonds come from natural agriculture, where they are harvested and sorted by hand, and then dried in the Greek sun. They are unsulfured, raw, and without salt. The crunchy nuts are wonderfully suitable as a snack for in-between meals, for muesli in the morning, or for homemade almond milk.

An airtight tin or a jar with a screw lid is ideal to protect the almonds from moisture. This way, they will stay fresh for months and will not lose their taste or valuable nutrients.
If you want to store your almonds longer, you can also keep them in the refrigerator. Here they will stay fresh for a particularly long time, as the cool temperatures slow down the rancidity of the fats. For an even longer shelf life, you can even freeze the almonds. Simply put them in a freezer bag, seal tightly, and thaw when needed – this way they will remain as crunchy as on the first day even after months.
