Our Koroneiki trees have been growing for years on a sheltered south-facing slope in the mountains of Messenia, overlooking the city of Kalamata. From morning to evening, they are warmed by the sun and nourished by the valuable red soil, until we harvest them traditionally with sticks and rakes in December to extract our high-quality, single-variety olive oil. After it has been bottled and each bottle individually labeled and inspected by us, the natural and unfiltered cloudy oil goes directly to the weekly market or to our webshop – directly from us as producers from Greece.
Aristos olive oil can be used in both cold and warm cuisine, for frying as well as cooking. Its pure and natural taste is particularly well brought out as an ingredient in a salad dressing. Our oil also adds the final touch to Mediterranean antipasti or a delicious pesto.
