The premium Syrah rosé wine – a noble French variety – has a strong fruity strawberry and blackberry note. The dry rosé wine has already won several awards, e.g. the Gold Medal 2017 (Concours Mondial in Brussels). It is recommended for game nights, a fine dinner, or special occasions.
The "Mesimvria Winery" is located in northern Greece. The picturesque village where the vines are cultivated is called "Nea-Mesimvria" and is located 20 km northwest of the metropolis of Thessaloniki. The village is situated on a hill overlooking the Thermaikos Gulf. The two sommeliers Theo and Perikles built the winery in 1996, driven by the vision to create the best wines of Greece.
Their portfolio includes red and white dry wines and organic wines (control number EL 02 Bio). The grape varieties cultivated by the winery are Roditis and Malagousia (Greek varieties), Shiraz, Merlot Sauvignon Blanc & Cabernet Sauvignon. All wines come from Greece and are not blended with wines from other wineries. The aging and storage of the wines takes place directly in Nea-Mesimvria, in the underground cellar of the winery.
Notes on the rosé wine:
- Allergens: contains sulfites
- 13% alcohol – not for sale to persons under 16 years of age!
