On a protected south-facing slope in the mountains of Messenia, our Koroneiki trees have been growing for years, overlooking the city of Kalamata. From morning to evening, they are warmed by the sun and nourished by the valuable red soil, until we traditionally harvest them in December with sticks and rakes to extract our high-quality, single-varietal olive oil. After it has been bottled and each bottle individually labeled and inspected by us, the natural and unfiltered cloudy oil goes directly to the weekly market or the webshop – directly from us as producers from Greece.
Aristos olive oil can be used in both cold and warm cuisine, for frying as well as for cooking. Especially as an ingredient in a salad dressing, its pure and natural taste comes through particularly well. In Mediterranean antipasti or a delicious pesto, our oil also adds the final touch of flavor.
