Completely untreated clementines from Greece. Directly from the grower family – from the tree to us. We offer pre-orders; you order the clementines and can expect delivery from the beginning of November. As soon as our complete citrus range is available, we will once again offer our fruit mix.
You can buy our delicious clementines every year during the season from mid-November to the end of January. The family of our clementine farmer, Vassili, is responsible for growing the clementines. He owns several hundred trees near the coast in his home village of Myloi near Nafplion on the Peloponnese.
Unfortunately, clementines are not available for a longer period, as we neither have the quantity nor the ability to store the fruits for an extended period.
Clementines must be eaten fresh. Once these sweet fruits are picked from the tree, they taste "old" after just 3 weeks. The juice in the fruit starts to ferment, and the fruits from the Peloponnese no longer have their full flavor. These small seedless fruits only last long if they are treated. Treatment can involve wax and preservatives. We reject both – but we also lack the technical equipment to chemically treat our Greek clementines.
