Important note before your purchase: Our peaches are absolutely untreated. This means that they will soften very quickly. Unfortunately, we cannot rule out that one or more peaches may arrive soft.
Our peaches come from the northwest of Greece. The exact region or cultivation area is Skydra. Skydra is located near Thessaloniki. Thessaloniki is the most important port and industrial city in northern Greece. Our peaches are harvested daily. Delivery is once a week along with our peaches and, if applicable, plums. (Plums are only available if a farmer delivers them to the loading point at the time of packing.) The producer association mainly exists to grow summer fruits such as nectarines, peaches and plums.
It is interesting to know:
As soon as the peach gets warm, it ripens. If the peach is eaten cold, it has yellow to dark yellow, orange-shimmering flesh. The flesh develops a reddish marbling that extends further and further towards the stone.
